Four Bridges Mist & Rain
The House was first initially built under the reign of Emperor Kangxi. Standing on the floor of Four Bridges Mist & Rain, we can see in the south Rainbow Bridge which looks like a giant dragon drinking from the lake and in the north Changchun Bridge crossing the riverbanks and connecting the traffic of east and west. Looking to the west stands Five Pavilions Bridge that appears like a lotus flower floating above the water. The House looks down at Spring Waves Bridge which connects the isle and the dike. Each bridge has its distinctive features and different in colors. In misty and rainy ays,these four bridges look like rainbows above the lake, demonstrating the amusing mist and cloud. Emperor Qianlong once came here and blessed the name "Amusement Garden" to it.
